A known subject is suspected of committing fraud by check and theft by issuing the victim a
check from an account that he knew (and caused) to have insufficient funds in it to clear the
check. The suspect also forged a written instrument while, with the intent to defraud, falsely
completing the instrument which is required by law to be filed with a public office. Investigation
on-going.
