On 2/2/23 at approximately 0945 hours, Deputies of the Mesa County Sheriff's Office were in
service at the Mesa County Justice Center, 125 N. Spruce Street, Grand Junction CO, in Mesa
County. Deputies were notified a known person, Gary Swenson (45), had an active warrant for
his arrest and had entered the Justice Center. Swenson was contacted in the lobby of the
building and taken into custody on his warrant. He was transported to the Mesa County
